Patrick has over 13 years of experience working with diverse populations in inpatient cardiac, neurotrauma and mental health specialties, with the last 5 years being focused on mental health advanced practice nursing. He enjoys working with people to help them establish their mental health goals and always strives to meet people “where they are” and to assist them to make decisions based on their stated goals. He honor people’s autonomy and always try to provide choices for patients that are backed up with clinical reasoning, informed by evidence-based practice.

Patrick views his therapeutic relationships with patients as collaborative in nature. He feels medications can often help people manage diverse mental health situations, but also strongly feels that therapy along with medications provides the best outcomes.
